Rezept für Brownie-Kekse: Man nehme eine amerikanische Cheesecake Brownie Backmischung, lese die englischen Anweisungen nur halbherzig und ignoriere vor allem die Größenangaben der empfohlenen Backform. Umrechnen von Inch in Zentimeter ist eigentlich gar nicht so schwer, aber ignorieren ist einfacher ;)
Beim einfüllen der Teiges in meine Backform wurde mir dann auch ganz schnell klar, dass die mindestens doppelt so groß ist wie sie hätte sein sollen. Am Ende wurden es dann eben Brownie-Kekse. Nicht was ich erwartet hatte, aber dafür doch halbwegs lecker und ganz knusprig ;)
Recipe for Brownie-Cookies: Take an American Cheesecake-Brownie-Mix, skim over the instructions, and most of all: ignore the recommend size of the cake pan. Converting inch to centimeters is not difficult at all, but ignoring is just easier ;)
When I poured the Brownie mixture into the pan, I realised very quickly that the pan was at least double of the recommended size. So in the end I got Brownie-Cookies. Not what I expected or planned, but still somewhat yummy and very crispy ;)

Heute hat einer meiner Lieblingsmenschen Geburtstag, dafür kommt ein holländischer Tulpengruß: Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag! :)

Vor kurzem durfte ich wieder „meine“ Kinder in der Nähe von Amsterdam fotografieren, diesmal sogar in der Fechtschule von Isaac. Früher haben wir uns immer mit einem Deutsch-Niederländisch-Misch-Masch verständigt, und viel Händen und Füssen ;) Inzwischen spricht Isaac schon sehr gut Englisch, und Eva versucht mir ein bißchen Niederländisch beizubringen. Oje… aber ich gebe mir Mühe und sie war eine sehr geduldige Lehrerin ;)
Just a few days ago I met „my“ kids near Amsterdam for a new photo session, this time even in the fencing class of Isaac. We used to communicate in a German-Dutch-mixture with lots of hands and feet gestures ;) But now they have started to speak English, Isaac speaks Englisch very well already, I was impressed. And Eva is trying to teach me Dutch. Oh dear… I try my best and she is a very patient teacher ;)

Über den unwiderstehlich süßen Noah dürfen sich gleich zwei Mamas freuen, und Noah freut sich über zwei liebevolle Mamas zum Kuscheln ;) Liebe Silke, liebe Cordelia, vielen Dank dass ich an eurem neuen Familienglück teilhaben durfte :)
Two moms are happy to have this irresisitbly cute baby Noah, and I am positive that Noah is just as happy to have two loving and cuddly moms ;) Dear Silke, dear Cordelia, thank you for letting me be part of your happiness :)

Junus ist nicht nur ein süßer Junge cooler Typ, und wunderbarer großer Bruder von Mira, sondern auch ein großer Star Wars Fan. Beim Fotoshooting vor einem Jahr hatte er noch festgestellt dass ich trotz meiner Star Wars Schuhe kein Star Wars Mädchen sein kann, denn „du hast gar kein Kleid an“ … *lol* Diesmal wurde ich mit selbstgemalten Star Wars Bildern begrüsst, wie süß cool ist das denn?!
Junus is not only cute cool, and a wonderful big brother to little Mira, but also a huge Star Wars Fan. At the photo session last year he declared that I could by no means be a Star Wars girl in spite of my Star Wars shoes. „You are not wearing a dress!“ *lol* This year he was greeting me with Star Wars art, how cute cool is that?!
